This post is dedicated to all you ladies who love makeup! Recently, I’ve been on a quest to organize my beauty products. I’ve looked around for organizers that could hold everything from: lipsticks, liners, brushes and all things beauty related. The main reason why I chose to finally find my products a home is because – sometimes I couldn’t find what I was looking for and it was all becoming a big mess.
But, have no fear because makeup disorganization is a thing of the past!
Below I will share with you how I was able to efficiently organize and store all my products.
Cosmetic Organizers
Online, I was able to find a wide variety of clear makeup organizers. As a matter of fact, I came across jewelry organizers that worked just as well. However, I did find that –clear jewelry organizers- were a lot smaller than a regular makeup organizer.
Here’s a very important tip that will make organizing so much easier! When you’re shopping for a cosmetic organizer, first look at how much makeup you have to put away and from there choose the appropriate size.
Also, separate every drawer by:
- Face (Foundations, powders)
- Eyes (Palettes, falsies)
- Liners ( Lip and /or eye-liners)
- Lips (Lipsticks)
- Random (This last drawer could be used to store those goodies that you just can’t find a place for, like tweezers)
Brushes
There were times in which, I couldn’t find the brush I needed because they were all mixed. Thankfully I found a method that has made my routine so much easier. Get a hold of 2-3 glass cups (depending on the amount of brushes you have). In one cup store the big and fluffy brushes and in the other all the thin and small ones. What I do, is that I separate the contour – powder brushes from the eye shadow ones.
By following these easy steps, I’m able to finish my makeup in half the time. Also, whenever I need to find something I know exactly where to find it. This organizing method is perfect for those of you who live in a small space. Don’t forget to put everything back where it belongs as soon as you’re done using it.
