Identical twins Karen and Kathy Escobar were born on the same day. As they grew up, either twin ever imagined giving birth together on the very same day! Both sisters had 2 separate due dates, but somehow destiny had a card that no one expected. Karen and Katy both gave birth on the same day at the Women's Hospital of Texas.

Born on the same day
Karen’s due date was supposed to be on July 31st and her sister’s on June 20th. As the sun came up one of the twins, in this case Karen, began to feel discomfort. At the hospital her pregnant sister remained by her side for emotional support. The doctors were able to determine that Karen was in labor, but the story doesn’t end here.
Soon after Katy started feeling contractions and at this point Dr. Joseph Salinas knew that both babies were going to be born on the same day.
Although, the little cousins were 2 hours a part, the story immediately made headlines. Kathy gave birth to a beautiful girl at 5:33 a.m., and soon after Karen delivered healthy and strong baby boy at 7:42 a.m.
