If you’re one of those women who are tired of chipped-broken nails and of getting a manicure every week, there is a solution for you! While visiting my manicurist, I was introduced to a new nail polish called Shellac. In the past, I struggled with growing my nails; they were very thin and would break easily.
I tried a variety of at home treatments - like rubbing garlic, yet nothing seemed to work. With time, things didn’t get any better, I began to use acrylic nails, somehow my natural nails were just too weak for them.
The perfect manicure
The manicure process with this product is very similar to what your manicurist would do on a regular appointment. There is however, an UV light which hardens the polish. This is excellent because you don’t have to wait for your nails to dry! Also, whenever you decide to remove the polish there is a special type of acetone for it. The removal process is painless; the last thing anyone with weak, sensitive nails wants is pain.
Things you never thought you could do
At home, I clean, cook, do laundry and wash dishes on a daily basis. Having my hands exposed to chemicals contributes to broken or split nails. While trying this new manicure I am worry free!
