Just like you, I’ve struggled with oily skin for years. There have been many products which have helped, but I’ve also found a few tricks that made all the difference in the world. If you're tired of having an oily complexion, then this is the perfect post for you.
The last thing you want while wearing makeup is a super shiny face, right? Discover ways in which you could combat oily skin!

Change your moisturizer
The moisturizer you are using could be making your skin even oilier. Always look for a product that is designed for people who have oily skin or a combination of both. There are great options to choose from, simply find one that feels good.
As an example, I always like to feel the "cream’s" texture and then I apply a bit on the palm of my hand. Doing so, is a very easy trick that’ll allow for you to know how it will feel on your face.
Exfoliate every morning
Exfoliating removes all dead cells from the skin. Therefore, when you moisturize you’ll notice that your skin looks a lot better. What I recommend from experience, is to exfoliate every morning before putting on makeup.
Check the foundation
Sometimes the moisturizer may not be the only product making your skin super oily. For instance, many foundations that are designed to make the skin “dewy” could also promote more oil within your face.
At the store ―try on the foundation and then walk around for 5-10 minutes. After, come back to the counter to see the final result.
Pressed powder is the way to go
The incredible results of applying pressed powder on top of a foundation are incredible. It’ll give your skin a natural glow that doesn’t look oily. However, some products don’t last as long as others and so, always carry a brush and some powder with you.
With so many options on the market, there is always a reason to look your very best. Also, take into consideration that not everyone has the same skin type. If the oil on your face becomes too much to handle ―find a dermatologist that could help you achieve healthier skin.
