6. A clean slate
Any room will look twice as nice with just a bit of paint! During summer, strive for peaches, baby blues and soft violets. Also, allow for sunlight to come in! With warmer weather, the smell of flowers is always so refreshing.
5. Change all pictures
Don’t get stuck looking at the same photographs throughout the entire year. From time to time, it is always nice to see new ones. Unless, the pictures are very close to your heart, change them!
4. Paint old furniture
There are a lot of canned sprays to paint over furniture! Not only would this be a fun project, but could be very inexpensive. Find a color that you like most for furniture, for example I love white!

3. Reposition everything
I always heard that moving furniture around brought good luck. Maybe this is just a myth or belief, but it works! Position your bed on the opposite side of the room, move night stands and the dresser to a different spot.
When you walk in, it'll feel like a different place!
2. Clean up
If you’re room is not exactly “clean” or organized, find a day to get rid of clutter. A messy room won't allow for you to be productive!
