Colombo, Sri Lanka - People that were attending the Christmas Day services at a Sri Lanka church were in for a surprise. People discovered that Tupac's lyrics to "Hail Mary" were printed in the service guide. As you may know the song lyrics include "empty out my clip, never stop to aim."
Church Accidently Prints Tupac Lyrics Into Christmas Service
Church in Sri Lanka put lyrics to 2Pac's Hail Mary as a replacement to the prayer.
Tupac Shakur, quien fue asesinado en 1996, será agregado al Rock and Roll Hall of Fame en 2017.
According to a report by CNN, a man by the name of Andrew Choksy who was attending service that evening said that he recognized the song immediately.
Choksy said: "A lot of people were in shock as whether it was a joke or someone would actually rap the song. A few of the older ladies could not stop looking at the book."
Also, Ravindu Thimantha G. posted a photo to Twitter saying: "A Christmas Carol service in Sri Lanka has accidently printed the lyrics of Tupac's Hail Mary, instead of the prayer."
Father De Silva from the archdiocese told CNN: "The page was in the middle of the booklet. When people looked at this page, they saw it before the start of the show. Two people saw it and alerted us to it."
A young boy simple downloaded the incorrect version of the song and we are very sorry to say that this has happened said Father De Silva.
