Q: What can I bring inside the gates?
A: Backpacks are allowed but will be searched.
Blankets
Umbrellas
Baby Strollers
Binoculars
Pocket-sized cameras but DSLR (professional grade with removable lenses are not allowed)
1 Empty water container or camelback
1 foldable lawn chair
Q: What Can't I Bring?
A: Any weapons of any kind
Toy weapons or anything that resembles a weapon whether it's fake or not.
Illegal substances including narcotics
Drug paraphernalia
Alcohol (There will be alcohol sold at the festival)
Glass containers
Food or beverages
Skateboards, scooters or personal motorized vehicles (except wheelchairs)
Fireworks, fire-crackers, sparklers or anything flamable
Explosives
Pets (except service dogs)
Video cameras or video equipment
Large umbrellas
Hard-sided coolers
Tents
Professional still cameras are not allowed
Any audio recording equipment
No illegal vending is permitted
Unlicensed vendors / unauthorized vendors
Unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling, give-aways, pamplets, flyers, etc.
Metal aerosol cans (including hairspray and sunscreen aerosol cans)
Q: Will I be searched
A: Yes! All guests will be searched for contraband upon entry. You can help other fellow festival goers quickly go through the lines by leaving large bags at home.
Q: Can I bring my kids?
A: Yes. In fact children 3 1/2 feet tall and shorter are admitted FREE if accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. There will be no children under the age of 14 allowed without the supervision of an adult.
Q: Can I re-enter the festival?
A: Yes.
Q: What about those people with disabilities?
A: We want everyone to have the same opportunity to experience the Mala Luna Music Festival. There are wheelchair accessible areas and ADA bathrooms on the grounds.
Q: Safety & Medical
A: If you ever need medical assistance, seek out the medical tent or look for police, security staff, festival staff or team members know you're in need of assistance. Someone will help you or someone that needs help.
Q: What time does the festival start?
A: The gates swing open at 12PM (Noon) Saturday and Sunday.
How to get to the Festival
Parking will be available on-site at 600 Lone Star Blvd. for $35.
Off-site parking available at the lot at Bohls & Equipment Company (211 Probandt St.) for $15.
Uber & Lyft drop off and pick up will be at Roosevelt Park (331 Roosevelt)

Mala Luna Shuttle
Route 42 will run every 20 minutes from 5:10am until Midnight both days of the festival.
- Drop off will be located at Roosevelt Park - 331 Roosevelt Ave.
Bus Routes
The following bus routes can also be taken to Mala Luna and drop off within 4 blocks of the festival - 46, 246, 34, 42, 242, and 36.
