There are two things that I love to do in the Fall. One is to scroll through thousands of decadent dessert recipes on Pinterest and the second one is to never ever bake them. It’s not that I don’t want to bake these mouthwatering, calorie laden, things of beauty. It’s simply that I can’t. Or at least, I haven’t been successful, yet. Don’t let my failures deter you. After you convinced the crowd that you did not, in fact, purchase it at the uppity bakery downtown, you could then bask in their grateful astonishment. Honey Pears in Puff Pastry Okay, I am the last person to consider fruit a dessert. In fact, I find the thought of it offensive to real desserts. However, when said fruit is covered in puff pastry and caramel, I’ll make an exception. This one looks a little tricky even for a pro like you, so make sure you carve out enough time for it.
