Scientists have made a interesting discovery at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. There is a "lake" down there that if any living species enters it, they will "suffer horribly."
The associate professor of biology at Temple University, Erik Cordes tells in his Oceanography journal his findings.
The "Lake" was discovered by Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) Hercules. Hercules was sent to explore features of the deep seeps at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. Scientists were quickly amazed to find brine Lakes at the bottom of the ocean. They explained that Brine is a more concentrated saline fluid that can be four times more saline than regular seawater.
