Selena course now available at university

Students at a university in California will soon be studying the late Selena Quintanilla-Perez.

San Diego State University professor Dr. Nathian Shae Rodriguez just announced on what would be the Tejano songstress' 48th birthday, a new course at the school.

The curriculum is called "Selena & Latinx Media Representation" and according to the post by the professor, the class will go in depth of socio-cultured mediated representations of intersectional Latinx by identifying the music, career and influence of the Tejano singer.

Registration for the course begins on November 1st and the first class begins in the Spring of 2020.
