The thrill ride is named after a superhero.
Aug 3, 2017 – 4:27 PM EDT

The new thrill ride at Six Flags Fiesta Texas will be opening up in the Spring of 2018. The roller coaster will replace "The Power Surge", a log flume ride which was around for a little more than a quarter of a century.

The roller coaster was announced on August 3rd as Wonder Woman Golden Lasso coaster joining the super hero line up of coasters at the theme park. The park mentions that the Wonder Woman coaster will feature the world's first single rail with several drops going straight down at 90 degrees. Also, riders will experience two hills giving them some airtime with a 180 degree stall and a zero-g roll!

According to the press release, the area where the coaster is located will be themed after Themyscira and feature Steve Trevor's crashed plane in the lake.
