Thereafter, Homie Marco became a jock at KMAP 1370 AM "The Beat of the Twin Cities."
In 1990, Homie Marco attended the "Art Institute of Houston" for music and video business.
Homie fell in love with Tejano music and immediately got a gig as a DJ at KQQK Tejano 106.5. In 1994, Homie was promoted to program director of the station. In 1996, Homie left KQQK and went part time at Puro Tejano 100.7.
