A.B. Quintanilla is a free man

The brother of the late Tejano star has been released from jail.

On Tuesday, the 13th Court of Appeals ordered the release of 53 year old A.B. Quintanilla. On August 29, 2017, A.B. Quintanilla, the brother of the late Tejano star Selena Quintanilla was released from the Nueces County Jail.

According to legal documentation, A.B. was jailed for not making child support payments and had owed about $87,587.48 causing a warrent for arrest to be made.

Back on August 16th, A.B. pledged to make a payment of the full amount along with legal expenses to Judge Missy Medary. Medary locked up A.B. and asked him to reconcider his parental responsibilities while away.

A.B's father Abraham Quintanilla posted on August 30th to social media stating: "For all those that were misinforming the public on social media that Ab was in jail for a long time well its NOT TRUE he is at home enjoying some tacos. Its very clear how you find out who the real friends are and who your enemies are. I am keeping a list."
