Nike's Self Lacing Sneakers Finally Has Release Date

Nike is about to release shoes that you'll never have to tie again. We all can't wait.

Fiction turns into reality with Nike's new self-lacing sneaker called the HyperAdapt 1.0. This new type of sneaker technology really takes out the chore of bending down and lacing up.

The shoe has an LED light in the heel letting you know that they're lacing up or if your sneakers are running low on battery. The shoes will require 3-hour charging every time they need juice, but Nike says that they'll last a few weeks before needing another re-charge. Charging these puppies is so easy with the magnetic clip on charger kind of like the one the Apple Watch uses.

Nike's Public Relations Director, Heidi Burgett posted a tweet saying: "HyperAdapt 1.0 will be available in the US at select Nike retail locations. Appointments to experience & purchase begins 11.28.16."

There isn't a confirmed price yet for the sneakers, but we're all expecting a very high price tag. It's pretty cool to know that we'll be wearing some cool kicks like these in the future.

Check out the video for the details about the new power lacing sneakers everyone is talking about.
