The trial in Sweden is underway for A$AP Rocky on Tuesday (July 30) and has pleaded not guilty in court.
It has been almost a month since the 30-year-old rapper has been detained along with two other suspects who also plead not guilty following the street brawl in Stockholm.
Prosecutors allege that Rocky and his entourage had "deliberately, together and in agreement" attacked 19-year-old Mustafa Jafari.
Acting in self-defense after being harrassed by two men that includes Jafari on June 30th.
According to reports from the courtroom, the prosecutition alleged that A$AP Rocky threw Jafari onto the ground before he and two others kicked and punched him. Jafari also stated that he was hit in the head with a bottle.
Photo evidence that was presented in court shows a broken glass bottle on the street along with bottle fragments that matched the bottle stuck onto Rocky's sweater although there is no fingerprints or other DNA that was found on the bottle.
Jafari also admitted that he and his associates were following Rocky and his entourage because he had thrown his headphones at the group and wanted them back.
Jafari is looking to seek over $14,000 in damages. If convicted, Rocky is facing up to two years in prison.
