The architect Antoni Gaudí designed one of the most iconic cathedrals in the world: la Sagrada Familia (Sacred Family). Seven of the buildings he designed are considered “World Heritage” sites by UNESCO. Gaudi started work on the temple in 1883. As of today, 70 percent of the work has been executed, and the goal is to complete all of the architectural work by 2026.

Park Guell
Park Güell - In 1885 the industrialist Eusebi Güell, instructed Gaudi to build a park on a bare mountain ridge, with a fantastic view of Barcelona. The concept was to create a garden city where nature and housing could exist in harmony. The park was opened in 1922.
