School District Makes Sure Kids Don't go Hungry This Spring Break

The school district will be giving children nutritional meals during Spring Break

School Lunches

Northside Independent School District is making sure that their students are being fed this Spring Break. The school district opened two school cafeterias to provide a no-cost hot breakfast and lunch to students in the district.

The program is called "The Spring Break Feeding Program" and two participating Elementary schools, Mary Hull and Martin Elementary are expecting to feed approximately 10,000 students March 13th - 17th. The doors will be open in the morning 8 A.M. to 9 A.M. and for lunch 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. and is for dining in only.
