Teens are notoriously hard to buy for. We can safely assume that technology is a good bet but much of what is out there today is far too expensive for any reasonable budget. However, there are some really great and affordable technologies out there, too. Here are just five that will please your teen and your bank account.

Jam Banz

These brightly coloured Slap Banz are portable blue tooth speakers. Teens can slap them on and take their music wherever they go. Sure, you might rather they have some wireless earbuds so you don’t have to share in their, likely questionable, taste in music, but for the price difference, these slap bands are the way to go. Just encourage them to try them out at a friend’s house, and hope their friend’s parents don’t return the favour.

Plush Speaker Animals

Just because they are teens doesn’t mean they won’t love these Faux Fur Rockin’ Speaker Animals. It’s the cool way to still feel like a kid but with a technology edge. These adorable speaker animals would make a great gift for any teen, or adult for that matter. In fact, that Yeti just made my wish list.

Bluetooth Bunny Speaker

Sure, these gift ideas are mostly to do with music but what else are teens into? Wait, don’t answer that. Just check out this sweet bunny bluetooth speaker. It’s got a high end look and a low point price. You can’t go wrong with those features.

These new age polaroid cameras are all the rage. You might as well jump on the bandwagon and put one under the tree. Teens can be very creative with these cameras and their pictures won’t get lost in cyberspace but have a place in their room for everyone to see.

This super cool levitating globe (that works through reverse magnetism) will make studying geography a lot more fun. It’s a great conversation piece for a dorm room, too. If you’re feeling like you’ve spent enough on different ways for them to listen to their tunes, than this might be a good option for you.
