1) $10,000 Clothes Recycling Scholarship: The vast majority of fabric can be recycled, yet 85% of textiles made each year ends up in landfills. That’s 11.1 million tons, or the equivalent of over 70 Billion t-shirts.

2) $7,500 Fight Hunger in Your Community Scholarship: 49 million people lived in households without enough food to eat in 2012. When they turn to food banks for assistance, peanut butter is one of the most requested items.
DoSomething.org is offering $7,500 scholarship to a student that collects food for their local community.
To qualify for the $7,500 scholarship, collect 10 jars of peanut butter, jam or any other non-perishable and submit a photo of them to www.dosomething.org/pbj. For every ten items donated, you are entered into the lottery once, no limit on the number of entries you can earn.

3) What Would You do to Save Money Scholarship, $3,000, one winner: What would you do to save a few bucks? Share DoSomething.org's Would You Rather game and you and your friends will be put in hilarious situations to save money, but also get some real money saving tips along the way. 4) Financial Education Scholarships, $7,500, three winners: Run a financial education workshop for your friends and you'll be entered to win a $7,500 scholarship. 3/4 teens don't know enough about personal finances. Arm your friends with mad money skills by running a workshop to teach them. Sign up here and we'll give you 3 pre-made workshops to chose from.
