Beastie Boys singer
Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz took matters into his own hands when he heard that funding for
Planned Parenthood will be stopped. The rap singer designed the new shoe called "The Ramos Ad-Rock" which is a sneaker designed to keep your feet warm in the winter time with a channel quilted, a silicon coated nylon accent that's stuffed with synthetic down.
Horovitz said that the all net proceeds from the shoe sales will be donated to Planned Parenthood.
Keep Shoe Company posted to Instagram: "What began as a quest for winter shoe has now evolved into an opportunity to garner support for women's health."
In an interview with
Pitchfork, Ad Rock stated: "I support women-run business. I support Asian-American run business. Net proceeds of this shoe will be donated to Planned Parenthood because I support a woman's right to choose and feel that women should not be punished for making decisions about their own lives and bodies."
