The Dark Side Of The Moon, one of the biggest selling albums of all time. From the single 'Arnold Layne' to the 20-minute epic 'Echoes,' fans will see the invention of psychedelic progressive rock via an insightful collection that explores the Pink Floyd story from the time
Nick Mason and
Syd Barrett met at London's Regent Street Polytechnic through to Syd's departure and
David Gilmour joining to form the iconic lineup."
Nick Mason told us that he and his bandmates -- along with all of Syd Barrett's legion of fans -- always wondered where Barrett would've gone if his over the top drug use coupled with both his emotional and mental problems hadn't cut him off artistically while still a relatively young man: "I certainly remember Syd as he was in the sort of, the very beginning of the band when he was a sort of real easy person to talk to, when he was extremely creative. I think the thing with Syd is that to some extent, you reflect upon your sort of inability to do more for him, really, and one's so selfishness at the time. But, you have to at the end of the day, you have to say, 'Well, we just didn't know any better.'"
